This plugin (Add-on) allows you to automatically generate a PDF in just a few clicks, from your form in Google Forms.

📌 How does it work?

This add-on imports the Google Forms form into the DataScope PDF Editor. In the Editor, you can customize the layout of the form and export the PDF document according to your needs.

In addition, you can use this same form in DataScope, with the additional functionality of our software, such as:

  • access the form through the application (even offline),
  • automatically notify email lists
  • view the information collected in real time and through graphics
  • use your new PDF layout to present the collected data*
  • and much more!

📌 Installation

To install the PDF Builder add-on, you must access the following link and click the Install button.

📌 How to use it

  1. After the installation is complete, to run the Add-on you must open the form you want to generate the PDF in Google Forms and click on the Add-on icon, selecting the PDF Builder option, as shown in the following image:

2. Click on "Launch PDF Builder":

3. Click on "Generate PDF":

*On Advanced Configuration you will be able to see other Menu options:

  • Change email: allows you to change the DataScope account to which you want to export the form.
  • Reset settings: allows you to return to the default settings.

4. Log in with your DataScope account or, if you don't already have an account, create one at this step:

5. Once the form is exported, the remaining options will be displayed, as shown in the image below. Click on "Edit PDF" to access the Editor:

The other options available at the Add-on Menu are:

  • Edit PDF: to access the DataScope PDF editor and customize the layout of your PDF
  • View App Responses: see responses to this form on your DataScope account.
  • Invite Users: add users to your DataScope account so that they can respond to forms using our application.
  • Google Spreadsheet: Integrate this form with Google Sheets. This way, your form's responses will appear on a Google spreadsheet automatically.
  • Advanced Configuration:

- Change email: allows you to change the DataScope account to which you want to export the form

- Reset settings: allows you to return to the default settings.

- Configure response trigger: allows you to enable or disable the response sending from your Google Forms account to your DataScope account. (By default all responses received on the Google Form after the exportation will be automatically sent to your DataScope account.)

6. All set!

The generated PDF will be automatically sent to your email.

You can also access it in the Summary tab of your account in DataScope to download it directly. Simply click to open your form and click on "Download PDF":

7. You can also use the PDF Editor, you can customize the layout of your document as you wish. To do so, inside your DataScope account, click on "Open PDF Editor":
