In DataScope, you can modify the values of a submitted response from any user via the web platform, as long as the user has the necessary permissions enabled.
📊 View the Change Log
To maintain the traceability and integrity of collected data, you can check the form’s Change Log. To do this:
Go to Actions > Settings > Change Log in the Home
Here you can see the history of changes made to responses.
There are two ways to modify a response:
1. From the DataScope mobile app
The user who submitted the response can edit the values directly from the mobile app by following these steps:
Open the app and find the response you want to edit.
Edit the necessary values and save the changes.
2. From the DataScope web platform
If you have the Modify Responses permission enabled, you (or any user with the correct permissions) can make changes.
In the Home section, click Actions > Settings > Modify Answer on the response you want to change.
Make the necessary changes.
Click EDIT to save the updated response.
✅ Done!
Once the changes are made, you can review them in the Home section to ensure they’ve been saved correctly.
