You can modify answers that have already been submitted from the DataScope Web Platform, as long as your user has the Modify Answers permission enabled.
This feature lets you correct or update the recorded information without creating a new answer.
✏️ How do I modify an answer?
Log in to the DataScope Web Platform.
Go to Home.
Look for the answer you want to modify.
Select Actions > Configure > Modify Answer.
Make the necessary changes.
Select EDIT to save the changes.
Once the modification is saved, you'll be able to check the answer again from Home.
🔐 What permission do I need?
To modify answers from the Web Platform, your user needs to have the Modify Answers permission enabled.
This permission allows making changes to the answers the user has access to, based on the restrictions configured on their account.
If the Modify Answer option doesn't appear, check with your account's Administrator to verify your permissions.
📋 Can I modify another user's answers?
Yes. A user with the corresponding permissions can modify answers submitted by other users.
The answer remains associated with the user who originally submitted it.

🕐 Can I find out what changes were made?
Yes. DataScope has a Change Log that lets you check the history of modifications made to answers.
To access it: Home > select the answer > Actions > Configure > Change Log
From there, you can review the changes made to the answer.
📄 Is a new document generated when an answer is modified?
No. Modifying an answer doesn't generate a new answer or a new folio number.
The modified information replaces the previous values in the existing answer.

Modifying an answer updates the existing information. If you need to keep the original data before making a modification, we recommend exporting or saving the information beforehand.
