How to configure the "Static Text" type question?

This type of question does not generate a response from the mobile user, but is designed to contain an instruction or contextualization of the next step, for example. This question does not require and answer and it will not appear on the exported final document.  

This question is used to, for example, notify pollster on clarification or terms of use. It can also be useful to give the client a presentation of what the document contains before he or she signs it, or simply delimit different sections of the report for it to be answered in a clear way using the application. 

One of the most frequent uses of this type of question is to include it before adding a signature, to deliver relevant information to the person that will need to sign it.

In this type of question it is possible to make the following configurations:

  • Allows you to insert a table.

  • You can add multimedia content from the content URL.

  • You can add images from the content URL.

  • The following options allow you to format your text: choose the type of heading, set Bold, italic, add a link or hyperlink, bullets or numbering.

Here is an overview of how this type of question is presented on the app:


  • To add the question to your form and define its function:

1. Click the "+" button (green color) or Add New Question in the lower-left corner.

2.In the new question, define:

  • Title: Define the question title. This field appears in the exported document.

  • Instruction: you can enter a description or explanation related to the question. This field appears only in the app, and does not appear in the exported document.

3. On the next box (Instruction) write or copy the text or instructions that you want to show.

 

4. Click the "Save form" button.
