How do I search and filter answers from the Web Platform?

Learn how to use the filters in the Home section to quickly find your forms' answers in DataScope.

From the Home section of the Web Platform, you can search your forms' answers using one or several filters.

You can combine different filters to make your search more specific.

🔎 How do I search for an answer?

  1. Log in to the DataScope Web Platform.

  2. Go to Home.

  3. Select the filters you want to use.

  4. Enter or select the corresponding values.

  5. Apply the filters to show the answers that match your search.

🔍 Available filters

  • Date: lets you search for answers within a date range.

  • Place: lets you filter answers associated with a Place registered in DataScope.

  • Form: lets you select the form whose answers you want to check.

  • Status: lets you filter answers based on the assigned status.

  • User: lets you search for answers submitted by a specific user.

  • Form code: lets you search for an answer using the automatic code assigned by DataScope.

  • Question name and result: lets you search for form answers that contain a specific question. For example:

    • Client name

    • Product code

    • SKU

  • Result: lets you search for answers based on the value recorded in a question. For example:

    • Client ABC

    • 32424

    • SKU123

    To use this filter, you first need to enter the question's name.

  • Assets: lets you filter answers based on the assets used in the forms.

🔗 Can I combine several filters?

Yes. You can combine two or more filters in the same search.

For example, you can search: Form + Date + User + Status

This lets you narrow down the results and more easily find the answer you need.

❓ Can't find an answer?

If the answer you're looking for doesn't appear, check the following:

  1. Make sure the date range is correct.

  2. Verify that you've selected the correct form.

  3. If searching by Result, confirm you first entered the question's name.

  4. Check that the user who submitted the answer has access to the account, and that the answer is within the data you have access to.

📤 Want to export the answers you found?

After applying the filters, you can use the Export options available in Home.
