You can delete answers that have already been submitted from the mobile app or from the Web Platform.
Deleted answers are not permanently erased from DataScope. They remain available to preserve the traceability of the information and can be recovered when needed.
📱 Delete an answer from the mobile app
You can delete a synced answer from My History.
Go to My History.
Look for the answer you want to delete.
Swipe to the side.
Select the option to Delete the answer.
Confirm the deletion.
After deleting it, the answer will appear crossed out in your history. The answer will still show up in My History, but it will be marked as deleted.

Yes. Answers deleted from the app can be recovered when needed.

💻 Delete an answer from the Web Platform
You can also delete answers from the Web Platform.
Go to Home.
Look for the answer you want to delete.
Click Configure.
Select the option to Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Once deleted, the answer will stop appearing among the active answers and will be available under Deleted Forms.
To access them, go to: Recent Forms > Deleted Forms
From there, you'll be able to check the deleted records and, when needed, recover them.
📌 Are deleted answers permanently erased?
No. Deleted answers are not permanently erased from the platform.
Records are shown as deleted to preserve the traceability of the information and allow their recovery. However, while an answer is deleted:
It won't appear in exports.
It won't be included in charts.
It will show as deleted on the platform.
📝 Can I delete a form that's still a draft?
Yes. You can also delete forms that are still in draft status.
Keep in mind that drafts are temporarily stored on the device. Your draft forms are automatically deleted only if all of these conditions are met: there are more than 100 total answers on your device, the answer is synced or incomplete (draft), and it was created more than 29 days ago.
Important: if you need to keep a draft's information, make sure to sync it before those conditions are met.
