If you need DataScope's Support team to review or configure something directly in your account, you can grant them temporary access from the Web Platform.
For security reasons, the Support team cannot access your account without your authorization.
⚠️ Only grant this access when you've requested it yourself through an official Support channel (the platform's chat, or the emails and phone numbers listed in What support does DataScope provide?). If someone contacts you asking you to turn on this option without you having initiated the request, don't enable it, and verify directly with our team before proceeding.
🔐 How do I grant access?
To allow the Support team to access your account:
Log in to the DataScope Web Platform.
Go to Settings and help > Account Settings.
Select Advanced Configuration.
Turn on the Grant access to DataScope support user option.
Click Save.
Once the change is saved, the Support team will be able to access your account to help you with your request.
⚠️ If the option was already turned on
If Grant access to DataScope support user was already selected, you first need to:
Turn it off.
Click Save.
Turn it on again.
Click Save again.
This ensures the authorization change is registered correctly.
🔒 When should I remove access?
Once the Support team has finished helping you, you can go back to Advanced Configuration, turn off Grant access to DataScope support user, and click Save.
Important: only grant this access when it's necessary to resolve a support request. Once the request has been handled, you can turn it off again to keep control over access to your account.
