DataScope has different tools to analyze your operation's data. Depending on what you need, you can use the charts available on the platform, create custom visualizations with Ask DataScope, or connect your data to external analysis tools.
📊 Charts in DataScope
In the Charts section, you can automatically visualize information based on the answers collected in your forms.
You can use the available filters to look up the information you need, for example:
Place
User
Form
Dates
The charts available in this section have a default configuration and cannot be modified directly. However, you can download a specific chart that's useful to you by clicking the top-right corner of the chart.
If you need a more specific analysis or a different visualization, you can use the other options available in DataScope.
🤖 Analyze your data with Ask DataScope
With Ask DataScope, you can query your data using natural language, without needing to manually build filters or charts.
You can ask questions like:
"How many inspections were carried out this month?"
"Show me a chart of answers by place."
"How many tickets are open per user?"
The assistant can deliver information in different formats, such as:
Lists
Metrics
Charts
Dashboards
You can also request different types of charts, such as bar, pie, line, heat maps, and statistics.
🔄 You can adjust the result
Once a chart is generated, you can keep chatting with the assistant to modify the query. For example, you can ask it to:
Change the time period.
Break down the information by user.
Group the data by place.
Change how the results are displayed.
This way, you can explore your data without having to build each analysis from scratch.
💾 Save your charts and dashboards
Charts generated through Ask DataScope can be saved to My Dashboards to check them again later.
One of the advantages of these dashboards is that they're dynamic: they update automatically as your account's data changes. This lets you create indicators to continuously track your operation, without having to regenerate the chart every time.
📤 Export your data for custom analysis
If you need to work with the data outside of DataScope, you can also export it to run your own analysis. For example, you can use the exported information to build charts, tables, or indicators tailored to your organization's needs.
You can also connect DataScope to external analysis and business intelligence tools, such as:
DataScope also offers integration options through API and Webhooks to connect information with other systems.
🔎 Which option should I use?
It depends on the type of analysis you want to do:
You need to... | You can use... |
Quickly check your answers | Charts |
Filter information by place, user, form, or date | Charts |
Ask questions about your data in plain language | Ask DataScope |
Create charts from a question | Ask DataScope |
Save charts to check them again later | My Dashboards |
Create more advanced or customized analyses | External tools / Integrations |
💡 Example
Let's say you want to analyze the maintenance inspections carried out during the month.
You could ask DataScope: "Show me a chart of the maintenance inspections carried out this month, grouped by place."
Then you could ask: "Now show it by user."
And if you want to keep this analysis to review periodically, you can save it to My Dashboards.
