From DataScope's Security Settings, you can review the devices used by your users, check the history of changes made to the account, and configure password security requirements.

This section is available to the account Administrator.

How do I access security settings?

From the DataScope Web Platform:

  1. Go to Settings and help > Account Settings.

  2. Select Advanced Configuration.

  3. Go to Security Settings.

In this section you'll find the following options:

  • Devices

  • Change history

  • Password

📱 Devices

From Devices, you can check information about the devices used by the account's users.

By clicking More info, you can review, among other details:

  • The users who have used the account.

  • The IP address they logged in from.

  • The last device used to submit answers.

This information can help you identify which devices and connections are being used to access the account.

📋 Change history

From Change history, you can check the changes made by users to forms, lists, and other elements of the account.

Click View report to check:

  • The date and time the change was made.

  • Which element was modified.

  • The user who made the change.

For more details on a specific change, click the info icon.

Want to control which changes your users can make?

🔐 Password

From this section, you can configure the security requirements new passwords must meet for the account's users.

For example, you can set:

  • Minimum length.

  • Mandatory use of uppercase letters.

  • Mandatory use of lowercase letters.

  • Mandatory use of symbols.

After making changes, click Save.

📌 Important: changes to password complexity don't affect existing passwords. The new rules will apply when new passwords are created.

Was your account locked?

If, when trying to log in, you see the message "Your account was blocked," it's possible several login attempts were made with an incorrect password.

In that case, select Forgot your password? to recover access using the email registered on your account.

If the problem continues, you can contact DataScope's Support team through the platform's chat.
