How can I access multiple accounts with the same user?

Access multiple DataScope accounts with a single username and password, and switch between them using the account selector.

The same person can have access to multiple DataScope accounts using a single username and password. They don't need a different email address or password for each account.

📌 Switch accounts

In the user menu, both on the web platform and in the mobile app, you will find an account selector listing the accounts you have access to, identified by name.

When you select another account, the switch is completed without asking you to enter your credentials again.

If you only have access to one account, the selector will not be displayed.

⚠️ Switching accounts requires an internet connection, as the change must be validated with the server. Without an internet connection, you cannot switch accounts.

📌 Add someone who already uses DataScope to your account

When creating the user, enter the email address they normally use. If that email is already associated with a DataScope user and the accounts can be linked, the password field will disappear and you will see the following message:

"This user already has a DataScope account. They will sign in using their own credentials."

In this case, you don't set a password: the person signs in using their existing credentials, and your account will be added to their account selector.
