How do I integrate issues with other tools?

Learn how to send your Issues to Google Sheets, Webhooks, Zapier, Power Automate, or the API

Written by Jessica Franco

Integrations let you automatically send DataScope Issues to other tools, so you can build reports, trigger processes, or sync your workflows without manual work.

📌 The Issues module is available on the Professional and Enterprise plans. Accounts on the Free or Starter plan can activate a 30-day trial.

📌 Google Sheets

  1. Go to the Issues section and select Integrations.

  2. In Google Sheets, create the spreadsheet where you want to receive the data.

  3. In the spreadsheet, select Share > Add people and groups and add datascope-sheets@datascope-io.iam.gserviceaccount.com with Editor permission.

  4. Copy the spreadsheet’s share link.

  5. In DataScope, paste the link on the integration screen.

  6. Select Save.

Issues are sent after the integration is completed. Earlier Issues are only sent if they’re open and their status is updated.

The spreadsheet includes the same columns as the Excel export and adds one sheet per Issue type if there are custom fields.

📌 Webhooks

  1. Go to the Issues section and select Integrations > Webhooks.

  2. Enter the URL where you want to receive Issue data.

  3. From then on, every time an Issue is created or edited, you’ll receive its data in JSON format, ready to be processed on another platform.

📌 Zapier, Power Automate, and API

You can also connect your Issues with Zapier, Power Automate, or the DataScope API.

  • They go through all Issues in the account.

  • They don’t return deleted Issues.

  • A deleted Issue doesn’t trigger automations.

📌 Frequently asked questions

  • Are Issues created before the Google Sheets integration sent? Only if they’re open and their status is updated after the integration is completed.

  • What columns does Google Sheets include? The same as the Excel export. If there are custom fields, one sheet per Issue type is added.

  • Why does Google Sheets show the old name of an Issue type? Because name changes or deleting a type don’t carry over to Google Sheets, due to Google’s technical limitations.

  • When is data sent via Webhook? Every time an Issue is created or edited.

  • Do deleted Issues appear in Zapier, Power Automate, or the API? No, and they don’t trigger automations either.
