Each Issue type can have its own fields to record data from your operation, such as the responsible area, contractor, discipline, or unmet requirement. This way you don’t have to write them in the description or in a separate spreadsheet, and you can filter them and see them organized in the PDF and downloads.
📌 The Issues module is available on the Professional and Enterprise plans. Accounts on the Free or Starter plan can activate a 30-day trial.
📌 How to set them up
On the Create Issue Type screen, or when editing a type, go to the Add custom fields section.
Select Add field +.
Enter the field’s name, for example Urgency.
Choose the field type (see the table below).
Optionally, add a Description to guide whoever fills in the field.
If the field must always be completed, turn on Required field.
To reorder fields, drag them by the dotted icon on the left. To remove one, use the trash icon.
Select Save.

In the Issue details and its PDF.
In the list filters: you can filter by Issue type and by Custom field. If you choose only the field, the list shows the Issues where it has been filled in.
In downloads: Excel and Google Sheets keep the main sheet unchanged and add one sheet per type, with the Issue ID and its fields.
📌 Required Location and Asset
In addition to custom fields, the Issue type can require the Location and Asset fields. They’re enabled under Mandatory requirements.
