Why can't I see my form after creating it?

Learn what to check if you created a form in DataScope but cannot see or access it.

Written by Jessica Franco

If a newly created form does not appear, it is usually related to access permissions, user settings, or a session that needs to be refreshed.

🔐 1. Check the user's permissions

DataScope permissions determine which forms each user can view and respond to.

If the form was created correctly but another user cannot see it, check that:

  • The form is assigned to the user's group.

  • The user has the required permissions to access the form.

  • If they use the mobile app, they have permission to respond to forms enabled.

👉 An account administrator can review these permissions from Settings and help > Users.

🔄 2. Refresh your session

In some cases, the form may not appear immediately because the session has not been refreshed.

  • From the web platform

  1. Log out of DataScope.

  2. Sign in again with your username and password.

  3. Check the list of forms.

  • From the mobile app

  1. Fully close the DataScope app.

  2. Open it again.

  3. Sign in again if necessary.

  4. Check the list of available forms.

📱 3. Make sure you are using the latest version of the app

If the issue occurs in the mobile app, make sure you have the latest version of DataScope installed.

Updates may include fixes and improvements that affect how information is displayed and synchronized.

📝 4. Check for forms with similar names

If you have several forms with the same or very similar names, make sure you are looking for the correct form.

You can edit the form name to make it easier to distinguish it from other forms in your account.

❓ Can you still not see the form?

If the form is still unavailable after checking these points, contact the DataScope Support team and provide:

  • The form name.

  • The user who cannot see it.

  • Whether the issue occurs on the web platform, mobile app, or both.

  • A screenshot of the issue, if possible.

This information will help us review the case and assist you more quickly.
